Staff

The Staff at Alpha-Omega Broadcasting have one goal, to spread the Love of Jesus Christ through Television Broadcast.

Brenton graduated from Evangel Christian Academy in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1986. He went on to attend Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri in the Fall of that year and served on the Student Senate. Brenton later returned to the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications in 1990.
Brenton did congruent ministerial studies from Berean College in Springfield, Missouri and was recognized as an Ordained Minister with the Assemblies of God in 1992.

Mr. Franks was hired to work with Alpha Omega Broadcasting when the station signed on in 1987. He worked in production and operations for the company and was originally the Operations Manager. In 1990, Brenton Franks was promoted to General Manager and served in this capacity until December, 2005. While at Alpha-Omega Broadcasting, the corporation expanded with the acquisition of KTVS television. While under his leadership, the distribution of KAZQ was broadened to include not only terrestrial delivery of the KAZQ signal, but also regional cable coverage as well as satellite distribution through both DIRECTV and Dish Network for most all of New Mexico, portions of northeastern Arizona, and Southwestern Colorado.Pastor Brenton succeeded his father, Raymond Franks, as the President of Alpha-Omega Broadcasting and is now overseeing both KAZQ TV32 and KTVS TV36 as well as all affiliated sub-networks.

Ruth moved to Albuquerque in 1989 where she began attending Evangel Christian Center. There she met and married Brenton Franks. They have two children.

Ruth earned a Specialized Ministry License from The Assemblies of God in 1995 and completed her ministerial studies from Global University. She is very active at Evangel Christian Center as Pastor’s wife and is very involved on the praise and worship team. She has also taught Sunday School, Mpact girls, and been Women’s Ministry Director.

Ruth was hired by Alpha-Omega Broadcasting in 1997 as the bookkeeper. Ruth came with years of experience from her previous position at American Golf Corporation and corporate retail bookkeeping positions. As time went on her responsibilities grew and she was promoted to the position of Operations Manager.

In 2013, the opportunity arose to become a co-host with the founder of KAZQ Raymond Franks on the daily program entitled Spectrum until his passing in January of 2014. It was truly a blessing for her to come alongside Pastor Ray and meet all the wonderful people that have been guests on the show. Ruth continues to host the Spectrum show with her husband Brenton Franks. One of Ruth’s favorite verses is Philippians 4:8

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Howard came to KAZQ in 1997 with a degree in Biblical Studies from Victory Bible College and served as the Singles Pastor for Evangel Christian Center where he met his wife Evelyn. An opportunity arose to work full time for Alpha-Omega Broadcasting, Inc and because of his computer and technical knowledge Howard was offered the position as KAZQ’s Production Manager.

Howard has a wide range of both technical and creative skills, required by today’s computerized and highly technical television production environment. His photography and lighting skills have proved invaluable and he is always willing to show and teach others the methods that have taken him years to learn. Although Howard has many skills he never feels as though he knows everything but continues to apply himself in learning new techniques so that every program he is responsible for can be the best it can be. He is never satisfied with his last effort. Howard Life verse is 1 Corinthians 1:27 “But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong.”

Not only does Howard wear the production manager hat but Howard is also responsible for much of KAZQ’s in-house technical dependability including the creation, setup and maintaining the station’s LAN and the computers used throughout the station. Most all of KAZQ’s media is in a digital format and is passed from computer to computer, from studio capture, to editing suites to video servers, therefore network and computer reliability and security is at the top of KAZQ’s list of priorities.

Moises was born in Lubbock, Texas and was also raised in and around Eastern New Mexico. He graduated High School in Clovis, New Mexico, and began his career in Retail Sales at the Skaggs Alpha Beta in Albuquerque, NM. His father was a Minister, and Moises ministered in music for him at the many churches he preached at. Because his father was an evangelist, they traveled across Texas, New Mexico, California, and Mexico.

“I have always had a calling on my life to sing and minister in music. So when the opportunity came to come to Evangel Christian Center I knew this was the time and place to do that.”
Moises began to lead worship at Evangel Christian Center on February of 2014. An opportunity arose to work at KAZQ TV32 as Director of Development.

“I knew the Lord had a hand in giving me the opportunity to work here at KAZQ 32. He has always been there for me when I didn’t know what I was going to do next. I know he was preparing me for working at KAZQ when working in sales all my career. My Scripture verse is Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

He is still working out His plans for me. I know that KAZQ is a great vehicle to get the Word of God out to the public.”

Tyler Franks has been working with KAZQ TV32 since 2012 when he came on board to produce and reformat the reboot of Spectrum as a daily program. He was born and raised here in Albuquerque, New Mexico and graduated high school as Salutatorian from Evangel Christian Academy in 2013. He currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona where he attends Grand Canyon University studying for a Communications degree. He works from Phoenix for Alpha Omega Broadcasting continuing to produce for Spectrum. Tyler’s other work for KAZQ includes designing numerous sets for in-house productions and producing shows like Insight TV with Brenton Franks, and Justice for Veterans with David Standridge.

In addition to working with Alpha Omega Broadcasting, Tyler also works on the creative and media teams for Evangel Christian Center. “I am very grateful for my position at Alpha Omega Broadcasting where I can use my gifts and talents in a creative outlet to minister to hundreds of individuals though television and help them grow deeper in their walk with Christ.”

A scripture verse that Tyler uses as an affirmation in both his professional and personal life is Proverbs 16:7,

“When people’s lives please the Lord, even their enemies are at peace with them” (NLT).
