Howard Holley

Howard came to KAZQ in1997 with a degree in Biblical Studies from Victory Bible College and served as the Singles Pastor for Evangel Christian Center where he met his wife Evelyn. An opportunity arose to work full time for Alpha-Omega Broadcasting, Inc and because of his computer and technical knowledge Howard was offered the position as KAZQ’s Production Manager.

Howard has a wide range of both technical and creative skills, required by today’s computerized and highly technical television production environment. His photography and lighting skills have proved invaluable and he is always willing to show and teach others the methods that have taken him years to learn. Although Howard has many skills he never feels as though he knows everything but continues to apply himself in learning new techniques so that every program he is responsible for can be the best it can be. He is never satisfied with his last effort. Howard’s Life verse is 1 Corinthians 1:27 “But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong.”

The one thing I am sure of in life is this, the older I get the less I know and therefore my dependence on God grows.

Not only does Howard wear the production manager hat but Howard is also responsible for much of KAZQ’s in-house technical dependability including the creation, setup and maintaining the station’s LAN and the computers used throughout the station. Most all of KAZQ’s media is in a digital format and is passed from computer to computer, from studio capture, to editing suites to video servers, therefore network and computer reliability and security is at the top of KAZQ’s list of priorities.

Isaac Milleson

KAZQ hired Isaac in 2011 after he had been seeking a media-oriented career for many years. He brought a vast amount of hands on experience to the table as well as many college hours of relevant study which he is currently furthering at Central New Mexico Community College. Isaac is not only furthering his technical education but is attending fulltime Christian College with Passion Leadership College in Albuquerque, NM. He has completed almost 3 years of Christian Education and hopes to graduate in 2014 with a degree in Media Based Christian Leadership. Isaac holds the role of “Lead Editor” as well as bares the responsibilities of a Master Control Technician.

Isaac has been pursuing a higher level education in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Digital Media. His overall goal in everything he does is to glorify God which aligns beautifully with the intention of KAZQ. Isaac has stated that he looks to accomplishing everything the Lord presents to him with excellence as we are called “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men,” Colossians 3:23.

My purpose in Life is to glorify the name of God in everything that I do

Isaac specializes in Adobe Master Collection with a special interest in After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop. Before KAZQ, Isaac worked as a Technical Support Representative for 4 years acquiring many Network and Information Technology skills as well as invaluable experience. He has been a quick learner in adapting to the requirements of Broadcast Television and has become prevalent in the Automation System, Maintenance, and Best Practices at KAZQ. Isaac hopes to see KAZQ succeed in spreading the gospel around the world and throughout New Mexico.

Steven Minor

Steve has been with KAZQ since 2006 while having taken various college courses including many computer courses which have been an asset to KAZQ. He is continuing his education and also plans on pursuing a ministerial degree.

Steve was employed mainly in the construction industry until returning to the Church and rededicating his life to Christ. His testimony of his time spent away from the body of Christ is a story all in itself and he is more than willing to share that story with others when given the opportunity. Steve’s life verse is Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

I love God with all that I am, and know that God’s work in me is yet to be completed

Steve has also learned many useful skills while employed here at KAZQ. Those include some lighting technique as he is responsible for the set up and camera operation of most of our local in studio productions. He is in charge of managing the automated playback system in regards to encoding and making sure the daily playback lists are done. This has given him a keen sense of computer file management. He is also responsible for receiving and logging all programming received from outside sources.
