The Staff at Alpha-Omega Broadcasting have one goal, to spread the Love of Jesus Christ through Television Broadcast.
Brenton Franks graduated from Evangel Christian Academy in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1986. He went on to attend Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri in the Fall of that year and served on the Student Senate. Brenton later returned to the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications in 1990.
Brenton did congruent ministerial studies from Berean College in Springfield, Missouri and was recognized as an Ordained Minister with the Assemblies of God in 1992.
Mr. Franks was hired to work with Alpha Omega Broadcasting when the station signed on in 1987. He worked in production and operations for the company and was originally the Operations Manager. In 1990, Brenton Franks was promoted to General Manager and served in this capacity until December, 2005. While at Alpha-Omega Broadcasting, the corporation expanded with the acquisition of KTVS television. While under his leadership, the distribution of KAZQ was broadened to include not only terrestrial delivery of the KAZQ signal, but also regional cable coverage as well as satellite distribution through both DIRECTV and Dish Network for most all of New Mexico, portions of northeastern Arizona, and Southwestern Colorado.
Brenton met his wife Ruth Ancira at Evangel while working in youth ministry. Brenton and Ruth married in January, 1992 and were blessed with the birth of their son, Tyler, in 1995 and their daughter, Ashley, in 1999.
While Brenton was working at Alpha-Omega Broadcasting, he was also on staff at Evangel Christian Center. Brenton began his ministry in 1988 as a part-time staff member and was hired full time in 1990 as the Outreach Pastor. In late 1990, Brenton took over the assignment of Youth Pastor and saw this ministry grow. After 2 ½ years in that capacity, Pastor Brenton Franks was given the responsibility of Associate Pastor. He served in areas of outreach, pulpit ministry, and administration of both the church and school until 1998 when he was elected to eventually serve as Senior Pastor at Evangel Christian Center. Pastor Brenton Franks serves as the Superintendent of Evangel Christian Academy and works in the direction of this ministry.
Rev. Brenton Franks co-pastored from 1998-2005 with his father, Raymond Franks, the founding pastor of Evangel Christian Center until Pastor Raymond Franks retirement at the end of 2005. Pastor Brenton Franks became the Lead Pastor in January, 2006 and is currently leading this Albuquerque based ministry.
Pastor Brenton succeeded his father, Raymond Franks, as the President of Alpha-Omega Broadcasting and is now overseeing both KAZQ TV32 and KTVS TV36 as well as all affiliated sub-networks.
Pastor Brenton Franks has served on the Christian Education Committee for the New Mexico District Council providing regional training for Christian works. Reverend Brenton Franks was elected in 2006 to serve as a member of the Sectional Committee of the West Central Section of the New Mexico District Council which provides oversight and direction to various local churches in Central New Mexico.
Ruth FranksOperations Manager
Ruth moved to Albuquerque in 1989 where she began attending Evangel Christian Center. There she met and married Brenton Franks. They have two children.
Ruth earned a Specialized Ministry License from The Assemblies of God in 1995 and completed her ministerial studies from Global University. She is very active at Evangel Christian Center as Pastor’s wife and is very involved on the praise and worship team. She has also taught Sunday School, Mpact girls, and been Women’s Ministry Director.
Ruth was hired by Alpha-Omega Broadcasting in 1997 as the bookkeeper. Ruth came with years of experience from her previous position at American Golf Corporation and corporate retail bookkeeping positions. As time went on her responsibilities grew and she was promoted to the position of Operations Manager.
In 2013, the opportunity arose to become a co-host to Raymond Franks on the daily Spectrum program. It has truly been a blessing for her to come alongside Pastor Ray and meet all the wonderful people that have been guests on the show.
With so many challenges each of us face daily, she knows the importance of keeping her heart and mind in the right place.
Therefore one of her favorite verses is Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Howard HolleyProduction Manager
Howard came to KAZQ in 1997 with a degree in Biblical Studies from Victory Bible College and served as the Singles Pastor for Evangel Christian Center where he met his wife Evelyn. An opportunity arose to work full time for Alpha-Omega Broadcasting, Inc and because of his computer and technical knowledge Howard was offered the position as KAZQ’s Production Manager.
Howard has a wide range of both technical and creative skills, required by today’s computerized and highly technical television production environment. His photography and lighting skills have proved invaluable and he is always willing to show and teach others the methods that have taken him years to learn. Although Howard has many skills he never feels as though he knows everything but continues to apply himself in learning new techniques so that every program he is responsible for can be the best it can be. He is never satisfied with his last effort. Howard’s Life verse is 1 Corinthians 1:27 “But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong.”
The one thing I am sure of in life is this, the older I get the less I know and therefore my dependence on God grows.
Not only does Howard wear the production manager hat but Howard is also responsible for much of KAZQ’s in-house technical dependability including the creation, setup and maintaining the station’s LAN and the computers used throughout the station. Most all of KAZQ’s media is in a digital format and is passed from computer to computer, from studio capture, to editing suites to video servers, therefore network and computer reliability and security is at the top of KAZQ’s list of priorities.
Steven MinorTraffic / Master Control
Steve has been with KAZQ since 2004 while having taken various college courses including many computer courses which have been an asset at Alpha-Omega Broadcasting. Steve is Married to his wonderful wife Andra and they are raising two boys, Matthew – age 15, and Micah – age 9. Prior to KAZQ, Steve was employed mainly in the construction industry until returning to the Church and rededicating his life to Christ.
I love God with all that I am, and know that God’s work in me is yet to be completed
His testimony of his time spent away from the body of Christ is a story all in itself and he is more than willing to share that story with others when given the opportunity. Steve’s life verse is Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
Steve has brought much to the table while employed here at Alpha-Omega Broadcasting. He is responsible for the set up and camera operation of most of our local in studio productions, managing the automated playback system in regards to encoding and making sure the daily playback lists are done, & he is responsible for receiving and logging all programming from outside sources.

Isaac MillesonLead Editor / Website Developer
Alpha-Omega Broadcasting began its relationship with Isaac in 2011 after he had been seeking a media-oriented career for many years. He brought hands on experience to the table as well as a college education in Digital Media. In addition to technical education and experience, Isaac has completed 3 years of christian education with Passion Leadership College with a degree in Media Based Christian Leadership. Isaac holds the role of “Lead Editor” at KAZQ as well as carries the responsibilities of a Master Control and Website Developer among other things.
Isaac’s overall goal in everything he does is to glorify God which aligns beautifully with the intention of KAZQ. He stated that he looks to accomplishing everything the Lord presents to him with excellence as we are called “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men,” Colossians 3:23.
My purpose and my focus is two-fold: Jesus and my family.
Isaac specializes in Adobe Master Collection with a special interest in After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Audition, and Photoshop. Before KAZQ, Isaac worked as a Technical Support Representative for 4 years acquiring many network and IT skills that have come in handy from time to time. He also was the producer of some local church media which was what helped him find his passion for digital media. He has been a quick learner in adapting to the requirements of Broadcast Television and has become prevalent in the Automation System, Maintenance, and Best Practices at KAZQ. Isaac hopes to see KAZQ succeed in spreading the gospel around the world and throughout New Mexico.
